This past weekend, the lady friend and I took a little road trip down to sunny San Diego. While we both have technically been there before, neither of us had spent any real time in the area. So, we hopped in the car, and decided to do some self-guided touring. We dedicated a full Sunday to learning about our neighbors to the south.
Not knowing much about the city, we looked to the internet for guidance. The internet did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to find Archana Pram's amazing travel blog My Socal Life. Her insight into the city, helped us find a number of amazing shops and restaurants, which we're right up our alley. Quality reading if you're heading down to San Diego.
One shopping suggestion took us to the amazing Aloha Beach Club (which turned out to be a bit of a serendipitous find). It took a minute to register, but I had actually been following the shop on social for over a year. I had originally fallen in love with their overall branding, the spot-on marketing, and their engaging photo work. The physical location was even better in person. They've got a beautiful setup, and they do a great job of presenting it.
Once it clicked where I was, I couldn't get enough. I wanted to take home one of everything. I showed major restraint, and walked out with just one throw pillow. One beautiful throw pillow.
The staff was extremely friendly, and attentive. Super nice guys. I can't recommend this place enough.
